NOTE: These pistons will also work with 22 and 23 degree valve angle heads but are designed specifically to get the most possible compression with a flat top when used with 17 and 18 degree heads. 
Ross Small Block Chevrolet Flat Top Piston Standard Features
ROSS pistons feature forced pin oilers when applicable, anti detonation grooves, lock removal grooves and come complete with wrist pin retention lock rings. The pistons are pin fit and balanced to plus or minus 2.5 grams throughout the set. Intake and, or exhaust valve pockets are radius machined and designed to handle most common performance camshaft applications. The precision skirt design allows the pistons to work properly under intense combustion heat and tremendous side loads without scuffing or splitting cylinder walls.
